Dance Night in Naples 2006

"Dance Night in Naples" was the first of several dance sculptures I did and one of my very favorites. I recently sold this special piece to Harley Hammerman.

Serenade 2006

"Serenade" was fun to make because I altered the vessel to create this "loveboat."

Night on the Town 2007

I was inspired by the French painter, Tamara DeLempicka when I made "Night on the Town."
She painted very bold and dramatic paintings in the 20's -40's.

Embrace Me 2008

When I made "Embrace Me," I wanted to create a very soft background so the embracing couples would stand out.

When I created "Circle of Friends," I tried some new watercolor glazes, and found them to add a very soft touch.

Art in the City Show 2008

The "Art in the City Show" was curated by Carol Shapiro and featured a group of St. Louis artists - Marion Steen, Chuck Mannis, Judy Weltman, and me, to name a few. This was the show that Channel 9 filmed for their Living St. Louis series.

A Very Fine Bottle of Wine 2010

"A Very Fine Bottle of Wine was created in 2010 and can be used to hold an ice bucket for a great bottle of wine!!!

Seaside Beauties 2008

"Seaside Beauties" was created in 2008. Kate Shaw from Channel 9 (PBS) wanted to film me making this piece for Living St. Louis so she came to Craft Alliance every few weeks to follow my progress. The culmination of the filming was at the "Art in the City/Crepes in the City" Gallery run by Carol Shapiro.
