"MOUNT RUSHMORE OF ARTIST LEGENDS" 2024

I sculpted this triptich, "Mount Rushmore of Artist Legends" with artists' busts (instead of the famous Mount Rushmore depicting presidents' busts.  Featured are Andy Warhol, Frida Kahlo, Keith Haring and Jean- Michel Basquiat.  Each section is 20"h x 14"w or 42"w for all three sections.  "Klimt's Lady With a Fan" was Gustav Klimt's last painting before he passed away. I decided to create this ceramic sculpture based on Klimt's painting.  The original painting was recently auctioned off by Sotheby's for $108 million.
